A man cuts cow bones at the Kibera workshops in Nairobi, Kenya, on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2008. The bone will be cut and sculpted into various shapes for use in fashion items. Kibera is the largest slum in Africa, home to 1 million people many of whom live in abject poverty. MAX&Co. and the ITC (International Trade Centre) employ 100 people here to produce the bone disks that adorn their African range of products.
