Finished crochet scarfs produced by the Totoknits group go through quality control at their base in Karinde Anglican Church, in the Dagoretti area of Nairobi, Kenya, in Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. The Totoknits group consists of 150 women who produce crochet hand-bags, cases and scarfs for MAX&Co. The products are part of the company's "ethical fashion" range in Africa which is designed to reduce extreme poverty and empower women. The limited edition collection consists of one-of-a-kind handmade accessories such as shoulder-bags, bracelets, key-rings, belts and scarfs.
