In China I believe in Falun Gong and there is a ban on Falun Gong. My belief was banned on July 20th, 1999. At first I couldn't understand why it was banned, because we believe in truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance, and I think this is a good thing. I learned a lot from these principals and this belief make my life happier and make me a good guy. Falun Gong is a traditional excerise, like meditation and yoga, we believe in Bhudda and other gods, it's not easy to explain. I was living in south China and I told the local residents that the propaganda from the government is wrong and not true. The CCP [Chinese Communist Party] control all media and after the ban they used all media to slander Falun Gong, to defame Falun Gong. But it was not true, it was propaganda, we are good guys but the government describe us as bad guys, they want to get rid of Falun Gong from China. So I had to try to clarify the truth to the Chinese people and so the government used a criminal law to punish me. <br />

I was put into jail for nearly 6 years. There were 2 periods; the first they sent me to a re-education labour camp for 3 years. In China the labour camp is worse than prison, they tried to brainwash me, they lock you in an area and everyday force you to read some books, force you to say slanderous words against our master. They tired to make me recant and make a guarantee statement that Falun Gong is a bad thing. If you don't do these things they will torture you until you give up. In the end I gave up, I cannot stay under torture. You know labour camp means labour so we made handiworks, most of my work was producing artificial flowers. I worked thirteen and a half hours a day, seven days a week, sometimes overnight. You have no choice, they have an electric baton. <br />

I got out and I didn't stop clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, it was just my responsibility. If you're a good guy you need to do something against the
